I selected this hotel because of comment of fast wifi inside the rooms, contrary to that their wifi connection was not working well, need to stay in the hotel lobby for fast wifi connection. Their toilet bowl does not have a water spray, they don’t provide a dipper for washing,unless you request from the housekeeping. The front desk did not bother to give us feedback if they will provide a dipper. The towels & bedsheets smell good and soft to the skin. I’m just disappointed why it was classified as 3star hotel, it’s just a better version of a motel, very small reception area, small cofee shop.The front desk staff, waiters, security guards and chambermaids were generally cheerful and always greet guests. The waiters & security guards are on their toes to offer a taxi ride when we are going out. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.

the problem i had with this hotel
is that we were charged for ordering what tasted like iced tap water when in sone other budget hotels mineral water is offered for free and unlimited.. the wifi in the room was very weak to no connection at all except at the lobby....

Hotel past its prime
Walking distance to STK Ta Bay. Helpful front and back of house staff. Large room.

The toilet blocked up and it took two calls before staff turned up. I have concerns about the cleanliness of the toilet and the room afterwards.

Basic hotel, great value

This hotel is clean, with courteous, friendly and attentive staff. Rooms have all the basic amenities such as aircon, hot water, LCD TV and worrking WiFi. Compared to other hotels in Cebu in this segment, Cebu R offers quite good value. There's not much to complain about except perhaps the rooms being a bit "soulless" but I'm not sure if you can expect a lot of soul for this price in Cebu. Shower did not function properly with water flowing thru all outlets, but it was hot and worked good enough for a nice shower. Breakfast is basic, but totally OK with several set menus to choose from. Will I return? Yes, and hope the shower is fixed then :)
